Fahrenheit 451 Q7

Fahrenheit 451 Q7

- Are there any settings in this novel which you have found to be beautiful? Or disturbing? Or memorable? Describe these settings and comment on why they were meaningful to you.

-> In setting, there are two kinds of setting. One is the place, and the other one is the time. I could think of many settings of "Fahrenheit 451". There were settings for times; also there were settings for places. I chose place to talk about. Actually, there were many places that were impressive. But the most impressive place to me was Guy Montag's house. First, I did not have any interested in Montag's house. It is because, Montag did not know what he was doing, he did not know what was right and wrong. Also, in his house, there were no such things like books. His house was normal to me. Later, Montag realized that he was doing wrong things such as burning books. He realized that the books were the best sources that can make people creatively. Then, Montag started to keep books in his house. He tried to change the world. I was kind of impressed when Montag tried to read books. The house that had books was so beautiful to me. Other houses could not keep books, because of the governments. But Montag's house kept books, and it was beautiful, even though Montag got caught by the firemen. The story of the book is very important, but the settings of the book are also important. Setting is just simple place and time, but it can show people that how the characters live at that era. The setting of the book can make people imagine what is going on, also the setting can show people what kind of situation that the main character is involved.
