Fahrenheit 451 Q4

Fahrenheit 451 Q4

- What is the climax of this novel? What happens? How do the events of this novel make you feel?

-> The climax of the novel, "Fahrenheit 451", was extremely thrilling. After Guy Montag realized that all things were going wrong, he tried to read books. One day, when he was looking at his house, his house was burning. Because some books were found in Montag's house. It was a mistake that he put books in his house. Since, he possessed some books, he was under arrested. He tried to escape from them, but it was extremely hard to escape. He had to fight with the Mechanical Hound. Mechanical Hound was a dog which was made of machines. While he was fighting with the Mechanical Hound, his legs got hurt. Guy Montag also kills Beatty. Beatty wanted to die, because even though he knew what was going on in the world, he did not have any courage to change the world. I think this is the part which made me really scary. I was so surprised that Guy Montag got caught, and when he killed Beatty. I couldn't believe what was going on. So his plan (Make people read books) failed. Only thing Guy Montag did was reading books. For just reading books, Guy Montag's house got burnt, and he got under arrest. The world where Guy Montag lives is a terrible world. I was really sad when Montag's house got burnt. The author really wanted to tell that reading books should not be forbidden. It was sad ending. Montag's plan completely failed. I hope that Montag's world could read books freely.
